The Ketubah is the contract that binds the Jewish bride and groom in
marriage. For hundreds of years, the Ketubah has been illuminated,
cherished and preserved.
It serves as the marriage contract at the wedding and later adorns the
couple’s new home, as their first and most personally meaningful piece of
Judaica. Each of our Ketubot is designed with imagery deeply connected to
the tradition and ideas surrounding the Jewish wedding. These Ketubot
can also be personalized, with names of the bride and groom, made to
match the traditional scribing of the ketubah.
A Ketubah should be a work of beauty, for as the bride and groom build
their new home, they also are building a little more of the home of G-d. |
